The book launch of The Blaft Anthology of Gujarati Pulp Fiction by Blaft Publications. Bharg Mankodi engages in conversation with translator Vishwambhari Parmar, horror writer Ekta Nirav Doshi, and nonagenarian sci-fi author Bansidhar Shukla. The event pays homage to the recently deceased king of the Gujarati horror-thriller, H. N. “Atom” Golibar.

Bharg Mankodi is a marketer and an aspiring writer who creates online content centered around curiosity and community with his friends.
Vishwambhari S. Parmar, translator of ‘The Blaft Anthology of Gujarati Pulp Fiction’, recently earned her M.A. in English and Cultural Studies with a focus on body politics. She is a fantasy literature enthusiast and enjoys collecting retellings of Pride and Prejudice.
Bansidhar Shukla is renowned for his extensive contributions to general knowledge through numerous science features and Q&A columns in newspapers. Shukla's notable work includes the novel "Varunlokma," based on a radio play he scripted for All India Radio, featuring the adventurous Captain Ashok.
Ekta Nirav Doshi, author of ‘Bhangarh: Ek Amar Pret Katha,’ is known for her distinctive horror writings influenced by H.N. Golibar, Doshi and Tarak Mehta. She is part of the Ahmedabad Varta Vartul, a group of 13 writers, and also collaborates with the left-leaning magazine Va Re Va, run by Raju Patel.
