The workshop explored the relation between the instincts and existing structure of our life and the conflict between them.
While we’re swearing allegiance to a cause or to a concern, internally we may feel a repulsion towards the same cause? The civilized life that denotes peace, cooperation, understanding often turns out to be a cover suppressing within an ‘untamed’, volatile, erratic force of instincts. It often leaves us wondering if the civilized life, its education, training etc. are operational at the cost of suffocating our raw powered instincts? The question becomes particularly pertinent and necessary when sometimes the rave instincts outdo the old scaffoldings of suppressions and emerge in a bold act of self-determination.
